Red Chili Coral

My LFS told me that Red Chili corals do well in low light. I was wondering if that was true? Any of you had good success with this coral? Any concerns that I chould know about?
I have four 36 watt NO flourecent. Two 20,000K superdaylight and two 6,600K atinic. Also, have two 60 watt Sylvania Halogena lights. They are what I call mini MH although I know they do not put out the light like a MH. I like the shimmer effect that they give in my tank. Currently I have many polyps, mushrooms and leathers which I know are low light corals and they have done very well.
Thanks!!

I have no hands on experience with this coral...my understanding is that they do well in low to moderate lighting...they seem to like moderate current...and are reported to be fairly hardy. Is this also known as a devil's hand?Sort of branching ...red colored...with small light colored polys along the branches?
Sorry that I couldn't help more...but I've not really dealt with this coral much.

I have had one for about 8 months and does well in low light. I have mine place under a ledge and expands at night.

Yeah ive had mine for probably 2-3 months, it hasnt died! I have it placed on top cause it is rather neat looking, but it feeds by expanding white polps at night,
Compliments on the tank, its nice
