I have had mine hid for a couple three of days, after I did a bunch of work in the tank, but never a week. He was fine! Did you re-arrange the rocks or make any big changes in your tank? Anyone picking on him?
You might want to test your water and see if you have any spikes. If not, he might just be hiding and only coming out when your not watching!
Good luck,

You did not mention if it was a juv or adult but in either case they do bury themselves when sleeping or bothered by something. A week tho is a bit long if you have not seen it at all. I suggest if it does not appear by the time you see this post then if you have your tank on a stand that is not full across the top but on a stand take a flashlight and look up at the bottom and see if it is visible (this has worked for me many times). If it is a full topped stand then you will have to decide whether to take a planting stick or long handled algae scrapper and slowly move the gravel around and see if it comes out (frankly we hope alive but if not you need it out of there). I also have had new wrasses hide for 2 or 3 days but a week is too long not to have it spotted at least once. I do have a juv coris in my reef and altho there are lots of rocks it still goes under the coral in the back right corner every night so in my case that is where I would start if it vanished.

it's a juvenile and have not seen it for two weeks now, I can't find any trace of hime. I have a clown fish and foxface I dont think they ate him. I will have to check the sand for him.

Just another thought here did you check the floor around the tank especially behind it. From time to time a fish will take the jump that is one too many. Before moving the sand check the floor and even inside the back of the stand if it is a open back. I found one fish there one time.
