On a shipment of live rock I got a crab that looks EXACTLY like an emerald crab - except it is a dark red color. Are emerald crabs always, by definition, green??
It acts exactly like the emerald crabs and picks at the same stuff...
At one time I had 3 in my reef that looked like the coraline algae on the walls of my tank......they started out green and changed colors....seems I heard somewhere that they tend to change color based on their diet.....
