Red faced eel

My snowflake eel has a red face. Is this something I should be concerned about?

I have done a water change, Sunday is maintenance day. I feed him packaged seafood such as shrimp and squid. I store this in our refrigerator. I have been feeding him once every 3 days and he takes maybe an ounce of food. My parameters were Amm 0
No2 0 No3 20 pH 7.8 Temp 78.

I cant tell you how to fix your problem and hopefully someone will come up with a solution for you but when my eel started to turn red in the face, tail and belly (where the eel excretes) the next step for the eel isnt good. I hope you can find a treatment and soon! Good luck!

Thanks Terry, he seems to be fine now. Someone in the aggressive forum said a red jaw was a sign of good health, but if this hapens again I will treat him as I would hate to lose him. Is an ounce of food too much for him?
