red general star

I added a red general star to my fish only tank yesterday and it has not moved in 24 hours. just wondering if this is normal during adjustment or should i return it for a new one.

Well, they are not particularly active, all considering. How did you acclimate it? What are you water parameters?

I read that starfish are very sensitive to acclimation, especially the Linkia's.

are his colours bright, I remember mine satrted moving the same hour.

One way you maybe able to tell besides color, is to pick it up and see if its "feet" are attached. You can normally see them hanging on when you first lift it up.
