I have a deep sea yellow, and have found it to require a fair amount of work. It takes frequent feeding, as it is not able to produce its own food with light. Also, I gently clean it off with a soft brush weekly or so, because it doesn't have any way of keeping algae from growing on itself. They normally come from deeper areas where there isn't so much light. That said, it is a really pretty addition to the tank, and if you are prepared to go through the care required, go for it. I do not know about the red ones, so hopefully someone else can chime in on that one.
