Red Growth - Please ID

I been watching this grow in my tank, is it bad? Should i remove it or is it safe? I appears to be doubling in size about once every two week.

Looks like red cyanobacteria, though I've never seen it that thick. Suck it out with a water change and maybe try Chemiclean.

It would be a good idea to figure out why you are having the red slime growing so well. There are usually 3 things that cause a red slime attack:
Too much light
Not enough flow
Overfeeding
Figure out where you are at with these 3 things then remedy the problem so that you don't have the Attack of the Red Slime Part 2.
