Red People Eater

Me friend recently purchased some "rare" Zooanthids online. She got 2 frags of red people eaters for $40. Is this really that rare and expensive? It looks like an everyday zooanthid to me.

I purchased a rock for $99 with about 6 heads of red peeps and 6 heads of green peeps. Within about a month all the red peeps died and the green peeps are doing great. I'm not sure if the greens are hardier than the reds or what.

I have noticed though that they are really slow to grow. My greens are still doing well and they are now starting to colonize the rock. All levels of my tank remained constant through this time and I'm not sure what the deal was. Anyway, sounds like you got a good deal! Good luck with them
