red sand

My sand bed is turning red is that coraline algea growing in my sand bed? Guess it's time for goby, huh.

Well sounds like either slime algae, or a diatom bloom. Either way, it would be a good idea to get some kind of goby. My friend once had a Blue Cheek Goby, they love to gobble the sand.

get some chemi-clean. it works wonders on red slime.

is this also the hairy reddish purple slime i have on my tank glass? can i use this solution to work wonders ?
