My Red Scooter Dragonet/Blenny (Synchiropus marmoratus) keep hiding them self in the sand, its rather cute, but I would like to know if this is normal for them. Ive had them for a few weeks now, every-things going great with them, healthy, active, eating, but every now and then during the day, and always when the lights go out, the hide under the sand, and you can hardly see them.
I'm assuming its normal behavior, but I just wanted to double check.

Sadly he was found dead the other morning, ahh the joys of salt fish, healthy and eating one day, dead for no reason the next. Got to love it.
I think we will get another one when the 65 red sea cycles. Its getting taken apart and set up as salt this weekend
