Red sea coral pro salt

Anyone try this new salt? What do you think about it? I have been using kent and am not happy with my cal, alk and PH, always have to add buffers, looking for a new brand.

i use it and its beastly. my red palys NEVER open with instant ocean.... now they do. i have tried instant ocean, oceanic, red sea, and i belive kent. red sea coral pro kicks the crap out of em. noticed substancial growth. and i like the high calcium etc.

i been looking at trying it. i have been useing instant reef for 3 years and don't think that is doing what i need. but can i just start useing a different salt?

Thanks, if I can find it locally i am going to try it.
Yes, you can change salts, not good to do constantly, but it won't hurt, if you are not getting the desired results with your old one. you are are only changing it out alittle at a time when you do a water change, so no harm.

i am thinking about changing to this salt also but i dont have an RO unit...do you think it will be a big deal since it is formulated for RO water???

I recently set my new 65 g up with this salt, and being a first timer with it, i absolutely love it. my old corals look much bigger and i have noticed substantial growth within the last 3 months of useing this salt. (I used Oceanic for the past 3 years)

thinking of ditching reef crystals for it also i guess there will be a few of us to give our opinions
