I purchased a nice healthy GBW from SWF and he eats anything and everything, but he does something wierd that I have never seen......(when feeding my tangs and angels)....he eats Nori off the clip.
Anyone ever seen a wrasse eat Nori off the clip? This is a first for me.

My Lunare wrasse does the same thing. He goes crazy for the nori sheets I put up for the other fish. On the other hand, my yellow wrasse never touches the stuff, so I guess it depends on the individual fish.

I have one tank where every fish attacks the nori; including a spiny box, harlequin tusk (a wrasse), pinkface wrasse and others.

Our lunare also goes crazy for nori. Except when he's done eating, he will still continue to rip it apart. Hundreds of pieces of nori everywhere in the tank. Of course him doing this prevents any of the other fish from eating it.

Think of it like this. He's cutting up the food for his tankmates so they don't get choked..lol..and they say lunare's are all killers.
