depends on what you want to keep. research what livestock you want... fish, corals, other invertebrates... and then figure out if that is the tank that will keep that livestock. if not, it isn't the right tank for you, if it can keep what you want, then go for it.

the best teacher is experience. there is more than one way to skin a cat in this hobby and the only way you will truly know if you like it or not is to try it out.

what many people mistakingly do is buy the tank and equipment first before they know what they want to keep... and then end up having to upgrade everything... lighting, pumps, powerheads, filtration, skimmer, etc. etc. don't be one of those people. take your time to research, ask as many questions about livestock as you can and then pull the trigger on a purchase.

welcome to the forums and I hope you enjoy your day.

well as far as i can research and the folks at the store it will do more than what we currently want to do and will do what we want to do in the future. the question is the quality of the equipment it all seems nice and looks great but i cant seem to find what brands they are or anything on the individual pieces so i was hoping to find someone who has had one to let me know the quality of things are.

All I can tell you is that the folks over at reefcentral were impressed with the workmanship on this unit, and they felt that the equipment (except the skimmer) was good.
