Red Sea Prism -- How to set??

I just got a RedSea Prism and connected it to my tank. I have a 90 gallon still cycling with 50lbs uncured live rock (well, becoming cured I guess). I connect it on Saturday night and it hasn't collected anything. I'm wondering, how do I set this thing? Second, according to the guy at the store that seemed to know alot, he said that there should be plenty of stuff to pull out because I'm using uncured LR. Please help...

just let it run. it might not pick anything up for a week or two. I keep it on real low, or else it picks up all water. And it's very loud.

Keep the valve set on fully closed for at least 2 to three days then you can start opening it slowly until you find the best setting.

You should NOT run a skimmer on a cycling tank...Chances are there is nothing there to skim. And the skimmer may actually prolong the cycling process..Wait till the cycle is done, and you start showing a buildup of nitrates before even turning it on.Then you should start with the air all the way up,and the water flow all the way down.If there are too many bubbles(wet foam overflowing in the cup),then reduce the air.But leave the water flow turned down for maximum contact time...
