how to get rid of that noisy a$$ gurgling sound, mine skims good only if it is turned to almost constant flow, but makes a loud gurgling sound, any cures? anybody?

Try taking the line off of the collection holder and putting a valve on it like one that comes with a powerhead.
Just beware that you need to put another hose on the
[hr]
on the collection cup so that if the waste level gets too high it doesn't go on the floor.
