Red Sea test kit

FYI for anybody with a Red Sea Test Kit.

I have Red Sea Salt and a Red Sea test kit. The Red Sea test kits reads .25 for ammonia with just RO water and Red Sea salt.

They're known for giving constant .25 ammonia readings.

I have two Aquarium Pharmaceutical Ammonia kits that do the same thing........I do not get any false readings with the Fastest kits.

Yeah. I have an Aquarium Pharmaceutical one as well.

I just ordered an Ammonia test kit from Salifert.

They will also give you a slightly more than zero reading for nitrites when checking newly mixed ro water. I tried this salt mix for exactly one 50 gallon bag and have switched back to Instant Ocean.
Edit; I should clarify that; when using red sea salt mix it throws off my AP test kits for nitrites that is
