Ok, my tank is 6 months old and I just had a large outbreak of Red Slime (we live in Sacramento, summer just started it's 100+ temps) that I've stopped w/ Chemi-Clean. While the Red Slime was dissapearing some green fuzzy stuff started appearing. <img src="graemlins//bah.gif" border="0" alt="[bah]" />
Any ideas on why? what? how to kill it?

Chemi-Clean kills all of the Cyano Bacteria, causing lots of dead animals floating around in the water, it also kills a lot of your good bacteria, decreasing the amount of waste your tank can process. You need to over filter and change a lot of water to clean the existing water in your tank. I hope you have lots of clean-up crew members and a Tang or other algae eating fish. If the green hair algae gets a foothold on the rocks, the battle to get rid of it will be long and painful.
I just finished dosing my tank with Chemi-Clean and am involved in the same battle. I'm picking up 2 Emerald crabs tommorrow. Good luck!
