what else have you done to fix your problem?
i used it as a LAST resort, but if you don't fix WHY you have it, it will just come back.

You need to find the problem why it is caused. Red slime is a bacteria. I have used chemi-clean, comes back in 2-3 weeks. I have used Maracyn with better results.

i would think maracyn is way too strong of an antibacterial med to use in the display tank. almost like using EMT in the display tank. redslime remover worked well for me, but definitely need to understand why it is present, fix those problems, and use chemicals as a last resort.

Add R/O water, water changes, and overstocking to that list
