Red slime

I have a big problem with red slime on rocks and bottom of my tank. Water movement is pretty good and my readings are 8.2PH, 0 amonia, 0 nitrites and 0 nitrates. I have used chemicals before which have taken care of it temporaly but keeps returning.
Are there crabs, snails or any other creature that I can use to take care of this problem? I have had the tank set up for about two years.

I feel your pain. I'm in the midst of a battle with cyano myself. Do a search on cyano, or red slime and read til your head hurts. I'd work on finding the source of the cyano.

I have found that Mexican Turbo Snails do a great job of getting rid of it. I ordered them from this site.

I agree with diceman...a few big mexican turbos keep it in check. They do a better job that any other of the red slime eaters I have ordered. I bought mine here too:)
