Red Sores?

This is no fun at all, I lost my yellow tang and a few of my other fish have the red sores on them, there is no visible sigm of fungus or open woulnds. What could these be and how do i get the to stop killing my fish, whatever it was it occured during a 3 week period of hyposalinity at 1.009 SG?As nasty as it may be the best description I can give you is herpes sores, thats the closest human medical ailment I can describe them as.

Well unfortunately im out of Amonia test stuff. I have that constant amonia checker thing by seachem and its at its lowest rating the ph is at 8.2, The wierd thing is that my starfish and inverts are all fine, so i dont know if its a chemical thing. If it is the bacteria you speak of will it die out without a host, im going to keep the tank fish free for a month, just LR and inverts, no corals?
