I have a yellow tang with red/brown stains around the
fins. The marks showed up this morning, I check my water
and all is fine. The newest thing in my tank is some soft
corals and they been in for about 1 month. Other then the
marks, the fish is the same as always(eating, swimming).
I can get pictures if anyone may want to see the marks.

How long have you had the tang? How is he behaving and eating? Notice any aggression going on?
Red streaks or discoloration in yellow tangs can be an indication of a bacterial infection. I would do a water change, at this point, and offer the fish food soaked in garlic. If you have or can get Zoecon, use it as well.
If the fish actually develops an infection, you will have to treat it with antibiotics in a hospital tank.

I had the tang about 1 1/2 years and the fish has
been just fine with his aggression and eating. I will do
a 5 gal water change to day and go to the LFS and pick
up what you suggested. Thank you for the help

Yes, definately a bacterial problem. Did the water change help? If not, you will need to place the fish in a hospital tank and treat with antibiotics, Maracyn2 for SW fish, double dose.
