lol, yes the puffers will be safe from the tree sponges, but the tree sponge will probably get eaten by the puffer, and most triggers, the tangs should be ok with the sponge.

my puffer ate all of my star polyps and button polyps. He likes palnt life just as much as meat... keep the puffer well fed... and good luck if you do. My puffer and my trigger do not bother my colt coral.(cladiella). you could maybe try that if you would like.... They are just as pretty...
