red tree sponge

i have a red tree sponge that has been in my tank for about four months. In the last couple of days it has started to get white fuzzy patches on the ends of it.....is this growing or dying???

I feed my tank dt's twice a week and mine dose that

I feed mine greenwater and it did great. hurrican rita killed it for me

i spot feed every coral in my tank twice a week with cyclopeeze and sweetwater zooplankton...is that enuf???
