Red Tree Sponge?

I am ordering a red tree sponge, and am wondering how to place it in tank.
Should I just stick it in the sand or glue it to a rock??
Pretty sure sponges should not be exposed to air, so am wondering how to glue it.............%%

it will be a slow acclimation. I'd suggest doing at least 3 half container empties so when you lower the entire container into the tank it will be all your water. Yep they can't touch air or the chambers can be blocked by the air. It may or may not already be attached, Personally I'd just sit it or wedge it a bit.
