Reef Crystals Salt

I have a question for everyone that uses reef crystals. How much salt per gallon do you guys use to get a salinity level of 1.024-1.025? The instructions on the bucket make the salinity around 1.021 which is a little low in my opinion.

I use Reef Crystals and Instant Ocean. I mix by weight 4.3oz/gallon

I mix 5 gal at a time, 3 cups gives me 1.024

i use a refractometer, so i add more if needed. my sg is always around 1.022-1.023.

there is some discrepency in our answers, I need to get a refractometer. My 3 cups for 5 gal may be a little high. my hydro reads it at 1.024-025, but it is more likely closer to 1.026
