Reef Fish for a 29

I currently have an established 29 (set up since Oct 01) with a yellow heaed sleeper goby and a neon goby. I am looking to add one more fish to the set up in the near future, something reef safe and that will not be too large for my tank.
i was wondering if any of the dwarf angels, esp flame, bicolor, or pgymy would be ok? or any other fish suggestions are welcome.

I would get a royal gramma or a fire fish. these fish dont get two big and are reef safe. not to mention butiful too! But if i were you, i'd get both. JUST A THOUGHT!

You could get a mated pair of clowns. ya cant have a reef without some clowns! You really dont need to bump this to the top to get answers! people will answer this topic wherever it is!

angels eill get to big(3-4in long) and that is kinda big. i would go with the clowns. you could also add inverts since it has been up for about six months!

you could do a dwarf angel, or maybe two small fish like a pair of clowns mentioned above. a hawkfish would be cool to.

thanx. its still going to be a few weeks until i decide, but im just seeing what my options are.
still not 100% sure, but hey, i have some time. if i do add some clowns, i will go with the seabe.
or if i do go with a dwarf angel, then the pgymy since they stay real small (1-2 in is all)
but hey i believe in the five p's (prior planning prevents poor performance) and saltwater is at least 90% research.

I just added a small bicolor angel in my mother's 29g and she's loving it. She likes how the angel goes in and out of the caves. I'm going to add another percula and that's going to be it for fish.

I've got a pair of perculas that are excellant fish....great personality as well as color.........I've also got a pygmy angel that I rarely see much comment about. Personally I like the three together...lots of color and movement....they would do well in your 29....

Would get a yellow stripe maroon clown, dwarf angel or royal gramma. All great fish that add color also.
Joshh,
Understand your predicament and I'm sure you've learned to research before buying so I'm not going to get into that. The PB tang is a beautiful fish and the fact that you've got him to acclimate and live is a great testimony. How long have you had him? How big is he? When do you think you'll get the bigger tank? I've had mine for 3 years now and he's absolutely my best fish. Let me know.

in my 29 i have a royal gramma and it swims around a ton. very colorful and very flashy. it is always the first thing somebody sees when they look at my tank.
i also have a yellow headed jawfish. they are very shy and stay hidden most of the time.
2weeks ago i bought a mandarin, and it swims around a lot and is peaceful and almost too colorful. if your tank has a lot of copepods this would be a good fish. my copepods were out of control all over the walls of my tank, so i added the mandarin to control them a little. it hasn't done much though. it is a fun fish to watch and very mesmerizing.
hope this helps,
Z

Joshh,
Any other fish in with him? Try to give him as much room as possible. He will continue to get Ich periodically until you get him to larger quarters. Good luck, they really are great fish.

If you go with a Flame Angle beware b/c these fish are sometimes poisoned to be cought in the wild and they will die quickly if they have been....and let me tell you from experience that it sucks to have a $65 fish die in two months.....If I were going to do a pigmy angle I personally would go with a Coral Beauty...I have one in my 36b bow and it is doing great and I have never seen him ever bother any corals....bicolors are nice too! Keep in mind though most pigmy angles like ALOT of live rock.... so if ya don't have alot of hiding spaces I personally wouldn't get one.....IMHO! Hope this helps good luck!! :D
