I have 140gal reef tank my filler is live rock also have a skimmer with a live sand bed! i have it up for too year my promblem is my nitrate is off the wall how can i get it down ps no fish has died ,my mushrooms are not open fillly

You might try testing your source water for nitrates as well...

how many gal should i change at once i have 140 gal tank????? I did check my resouce water it ok, I am using DISTLLED WATER FROM POLANDSPING!!

A long time ago (pre RO/DI filter days),I looked into Poland Springs water and decided against it.I honestly don't remember why. I suggest you check the quality.They will also give you a chemical analysis. To my recollection,they call it "spring" water,not distilled. P.S. Even with a chemical analysis,be aware that they test it regularly,because it changes.

when you say off the wall what do you mean. i would consider 50 ppm off the wall. my point is its all relative. could you give a number so that we can get a better idea of what you are dealing with?

OVER100PPM I HAVE ABOUT 10FISH MED SIZE AND 20PIC OF LIVE CORALS AND ABOUT 100LBS OF LIVE ROCK PLEASE HELP!!!!

With that reading and nothing dying I suspect your problem is with your test kit. Have your LFS test your water. Good luck.
