Anyone have one? Would you buy it again? Noise level? Any microbubbles in tank? What size tank so you have it on?
I'm thinking of ditching my canister for one of these on my 40 breeder.

Hi,

I like the octopus brand, and gave one myself, but in sump.

A canister and a skimmer are two different pieces of equipment and they do two different things. the skimmer removes ONLY organic matter, and the mechanical filter (canister in your case), removes and traps large particles in the sponge, and most canisters have bio beads to give a place for bacteria to grow, and a place for carbon to purify and polish the water. One does not replace the other.
