hey ky, according to ophiura, all linkias are hard to care for, at least, i think i got that right
a brittle star is good, as long as its not a green, same witha serpent star

Linkias aren't bad if you can find one that has no necrosis, EATS!!!, and hasn't been shipped a million times in a very short period of time.
If you can get a linkia to eat scallops and good meaty foods with a once or twice a week feeding (make sure that it doesn't drop the food, they're not as voracious eaters as serpents and brittles), it'll live a long time.

In my 55gal I have two Brittle starfish that I have had for 4+ years. They both have a good 10 inch legs. I had a serpant that had a good 6+inch in leg. I unfortunatly lost him when we moved a few months ago. Remeber Starfish do not mix well with clams.

The red starfish IMO would be your only choice, Your tank is large enough and it is reef safe, just be careful to keep your salinity stable. Good luck. I just read your profile, and if you want a blue linkia a 75 would work considering that you have at least 100 pounds of live rock and the tank is at least a year or two old. I have had mine in my 75 for a year.
