reef safe??

i am trying to pick a new family of fish for my tank...........i had only 1 fish in my 90 gallon for 4 years and he has since died, so off i go to the store to get a bunch more. i selecting what i want i was looking at the fish page on this site and they mention if a fish is "reef safe".......what does that mean ???????

Means the fish is ok in a reef enviroment an shouldn't pick, eat or bother corals , You will want them if you have corals.

I think that means that they might not eat your corals (if your trying to grow corals).

Just wanted to add that reef safe also implies they won't bother other inverts, such as shrimp, crabs, and snails. Just something to consider...
