I might be interested in a hammer frag for my boyfriend and am always on the search for zoos and fun mushrooms. Let me know what you got! Oh, and how do you care for the sponge, is it fairly hardy? I'm assuming shaded with phyto feedings...

yeah the sponge is a filter feeder so as long as you have particulate food they are fine, you dont need to spot feed it, sponges you place once and dont move, they then shape themselves to optimized use of the water flow in the existing spot, this can take several weeks (if you do move it its not going to die its just going to take the time to reshape itself instead of growing to potential), sponges cannot expell air so keeping them sumberged at all times is a must, sponges are not a good choice for tanks that have micro bubble problems. under over hangs with moderate flow, and little light is ideal some sponges are photosynthetic in minute amounts but they can utilize the lowest light you can find. some species grow faster than others this one is a moderate to slow grower, usually dependant of amount of suspended particulate food available.
They are really hardy, and its added filtration, a sponge can filter 5x its body weight in an hour.

let me kick around my tank and see what I have available for shrooms, I just fragged some eagle eye zoas (yellow fringe orange inner band with yellow mouth)
I also have a group of geenish tan sand requiring protopalys with a purple shroom on the rock I could frag some eagle eye zoas onto the rock and ship it as one piece. I'll take a picture in a minute.
