Reeflo Barracuda

Bought a reeflo Barracuda as I started to collect all equipment needed for my 700gallon built that is starting to become more and more a reality. Anyway more on that to follow.
Now I would like to add the Barracuda to my current learning 160gallon reef?
The idea is to split into 4 lines with a valve in between.
Was also thinking adding a 1"SCWD (yes I know OM is better) but as they are known for their reduction in flow they might actually come in handy here?
Would this be a good idea or would it just be way overkill for the small system.
For more info on the tank and to know whats in it see

Barracuda personally is way overkill for a 120.....Using a manifold on the pump would be perfectly fine, and even choking it off on the output side won't harm the pump. I just think it's way to much flow on a 120.....
A side note on the SCWD, I'd look at the new 1.5" Sea Swirl before I go with the SCWD.....
