Can you tell me the formula for figuring wattage for a fish tank heater

What exactly are you wanting to know?? Do you want to know what size heater for what size tank??

What I was looking for was the formula to figure wattage per gallon for a heater
with the second half of the question to be I would like to use 2 heaters to avoiid heat loss problems Carshark found the answer that the formula is 3-5 watts per gallon 90g=380watts
now will 2 200w heaters be good enough :thinking:

Yes 2-200w heaters should do the job... I personally like going with small heaters but more of them. If it were me I'd go with 3-100w heaters. Using a smaller heater will give you more reaction time in the event of a failure... but again the 2-200w should be just fine.
