if i have 260 watt lighting with 2 true actinic and 2 10000k day lights, (all 4 bulbs are dual bulbs) and there are two ballasts, and its only for a 25 gallon, do i need to use a reflector? also, if so, can i just use tin foil?
Aquatic lighting systems sells some cheap reflectors. I would say that you should get as much light out of the bulbs as you can. This would require using a reflector.
Yeah, you can always add one later. I would make sure that you have the hardware setup in a manner that will allow you to do so later, which I think is no big problem.
