I just got my refractometer today and calibrated like it said in the instructions, but when I went to test my water, it said it was at 0. What did I do wrong? How do I fix it?

I got calibration fluid for it and used that.

I recalibrated it using RO water and set to 1.000 and now it works fine. I tried it out on my DT and it read 1.024. Thanks for the help.
