Refractometer Repair

Hello,
Recently, my refractometer broke. The clear plastic piece which is placed on top of the water broke off. I was curious if anyone knew where to find a replacement part for that. I know you can't discuss other businesses on the board so PM me if you know. Thanks.

Where is it broken? You could try a hot glue gun. Or you could buy some glass and cut it to size to replace it.

The plastic piece attaches to two metal screws. One of the pieces is broken off of the metal screws

It just needs a little super glue or duct tape.

Same thing just happened to me last week. I superglued it back together and put a small clamp on it overnight. Works fine now.

dose it still open and close? mine broke last week as well

The right portion of the plastic that encompasses the metal screws is missing. Therefore, I can't really superglue it back together.
It does open and close flat; but I am afraid after a little more use, the other side will break too.
I am currently doing Hyposalinity for a QT, so I am using it quite often.
