I am going to have to do hyposalinity so I need to get a refractometer. Are there certain things necessary and to look for in order to get a quality one?

You want one with Automatic-Temperature-Compensation which will allow you to test the water at any temperature. If it doesn't have this feature you have to wait until the water is a certain temp to get accurate readings.
There are tons of brands out there, and most decent ones are in the $40-$60 range.

I think it's kind of strange that this site does not sell refractometers. Maybe I'm just overlooking them
