I am currently treating my tank with hyposalinity. Just started last night to drop the salinity down by removing 1 gallon of saltwater at a time replacing with 1 gallon of fresh water (RO).
I only have a hydrometer that goes to 1.000 but it is plastic with a swing arm. I'm trying to get to 1.009. Is this accurate enough?
If not, where do I purchase the glass refractometer? I've called 10 local fish stores in Illinois and NONE have this item.
Appreciate any help!
