refrigums

Well, I'm not 100% sure, but in aggressive tank, there is alot more mess left by the animals than in a peaceful tank. And algea from refugiums won't clean particles in the water, but it would help in keeping nitrates down. That is a good question, I'd like to hear from someone else. I dont think that it would hurt if it was in addition to a filter system in an aggressive tank, but probally not as a primary filter.

I do have at last count over 5 different species of Caulerpa algea in my tank, it looks really nice, and it is great for your tank.
