I just hooked up a refuge to my tank 90 gal-
over flow out of the back of my tank, ran pvc pipe down to the refuge- then bulk head out to a sump under tank stand: it holds my skimmer , heater , pump . refuge is a commercial sump 24*12*18 . I bought 7 handfuls of calepura( spelled wrong) added a sand bed. OK NOW WHAT * WHERE DO I GET THE OTHER GOODIES TO ADD TO IT AND WHERE. MY PURPOSE IS I THINK TO HELP LOWER NITRATES/ PHOSPATES ECT. ANY OTHER HELP .
? IF SOME LEAVES TURN WHITE , WHAT IS IT FROM AND DOES IT ANCHOR ITSELF TO THE SAND OR DO I STICK IT IN.
