Refugium add on to my sump

I was thinking if people can have hang on fuge's on the back of there tank? why cant i add a fuge to the inside of my sump, when i mean inside of my sump i dont mean a traditional fuge with two bulkheads and the fuge in the middle i mean i silicone three walls to the inside of my sump about 1 inch below my waterline, i fill that in with ls, lr and chaeto, and this is how it would flow... i have my drain coming out directly above my skimmer pump, then the water would flow towards my return pump and on its way it would pick up all necessary pod's and sort from my fuge, the fuge will have ls, lr rubble and chaeto, now on paper it seems good to me but will it work?

Wellthats alot to be stuffed in such a little sump! But i suppose it possible. You will haft to take the sump out and sry it then add the walls. Only one question how much flow is going into that sump??
