Well, I finally got my new refugium hooked up to my PS. It looks like it is working great and adds another 8 gallons to my tank. I hope to get some cheato to put in it this week. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks everyone, I hope it works once I get the macro algea. I built it to eliminate the bubbles coming from my coral life PS, then I thought from reading everything in these SWF forums why not make it into a small refugium.

Looks real nice Al. So did it eliminate bubbles like you had planned? I like the rock work it almost looks like a volcano.

I have the same skimmer...I want a HOB refugium to hook it to. First of the year it looks like a new project...you should market it somehow. LOL get into contact with Coralife..I don't think that skimmer works right for anyone and together you make an awesome product.

It works really well Corey, my tank needs more rock, I was thinking of getting some dry rock soon, cheato is growing really well - I tested my parameters the other day and everything looks really good. No bubles as long as I keep the water level consistent and watch my Ca and KH.

Sometimes I have trouble reading and writing. I looked at the picture of the wall behind the fuge and assumed it was behind a sump under a tank. I still say its a darn good looking project.
