Refugium hang on the back

I'm definitely not a diy guy and was actually considering the hang on refugium you posted. Before I ordered one I wanted to find out more info on it. I currently don't have much room in the back of my tank and I've been trying to decide what to put back there. I removed my protein skimmer because it wasn't pulling much, made a lot of noise and produced bubbles. Should I go with the protein skimmer, a refugium or 2-30 watt no lights. What do you think?
29 gallon
2-95 watt vho icecap
2-small penguin filters
55 lbs or lr
30lbs of ls
4 fish
several inverts
mushrooms and corals (soft and hard)

the one thing that sucks about that refugium is that you need to buy the lighting for it seperatly. that means more money. ihave a ecosystem refugium on one of my tanks, and i love it! it comes with eveything you need. heres a link to itweb page

i don't know if that link worked for you guys, it sure didn't for me! try thisweb page

How much was your ecosystem L.R.?
This CPR filter goes for $100 - $130 on the net.
Do the lights that came with your eco do the job? I heard something negative about them last night, but the guy didn't seem too credible to be honest.
I agree that it sucks it doesn't come with lights. It should. It wouldn't take much though to grow calerpa (sorry for spelling) if you have extra fixtures laying around.

I don't see how a skimmer could hurt. What kind of skimmer do you have? Sounds like a skilter. what does '2-30 watt no lights' mean?

My eco-system was 300 bucks! its been going for about a year and a half now, and the tank has never looked better. The lights it came with do the job great. 12w pc bulb, stays on 24/7.

I think it was worth every penney! there is no skimmer on that tank or anything. and you figure skimmers get up there in price, so, i think its worth it. ;)
