Refugium lighting..help

I still am curious, i have a light now, but i dont know if it will be enough like for chateo. its the purple color flourescent 15w..how much lighting is usually needed for plants...

thats a little low but should be fine I have a pc 65 on my chato

no give the pods time to rest, the light will be fine. Are we the only people on here tonight :notsure:

feels like it...so run the lights 10-12 hours a day?

hmm well i was going to have it timed, so the actinic and the daytime bulbs turn on first, then 1 hour later the MHs will turn on, 9 hours later the MH will turn off, with the actinic and the daytime on for one more hour...so should i run the refugium during the MHs?

k cool...would a sunset controller be a good investment, right now i have 3 timers that are right on time, but it doesnt get the dimming effect..should i throw in a controller on my 180, or naw.

If you run the fuge lighting opposite the DT, the reverse daylight photo period and resultant photosynthesis can help regulate pH levels and minimize pH swing...
