I just received a Refugium Pack of assorted red and green algae. I was just wondering, this is probably a stupid question, do I need to plant them (push the stems down in the sand) or just put it in the fuge?
it really depends on what you have,
some algae's glow on rock, (attach)
some have root systems, where you can push in.
so it really depends on what you have.
got any names?
