Refugium plumbing question

So I have a 20g with a 10g fuge beneath it. I ordered an overflow and am now looking to do the plumbing from the fuge to the display. I was wondering what kind of adhesive is used to keep the pvc together. Also if anyone has any suggestions about plumbing, please share.
