Refugium Question

I'm currently setting up a 150G tank thta was given as an early Christmas present. I have a 10G tank in my garage that I was hoping to possibly set up as a refugium for the big tank. Would this be enough or do I need something else or a larger refugium? Any advice would be appreciated. :happyfish

Depending on the amount of flow as in overflow, then 10g is way to small to even be a sump for a 150g......
