Refugium ?

can someone tell me all the inhabitants that should be in your refugium?
recommendations for lights
what type of algae?
snails?
rock?
Miracle mud or sand?
planning on setting one up , tried the search but cant find the right answers

Shoot in my fuge I 'm using about 1/2 of a 55 gal sump as a fuge. I have 2 24" regular florecent lights, 2" LS about 7# of LR with about 5 different plants that I got from my LFS. No need on adding critters to the tank. After it mattures you'll start to notice a few critters starting their nesting grounds sort of speak. Once in a while you might want to add just one or two snails to help with the algae on the glass. But again the fuge isn't really anything that you want people to see. It's just for helping to low nitrates and create pods for the display tank.

by puting in a refugium will i be able to take out my wet dry?

Use both if you can. Each one serves a special service towards your tank. Unless you wanna do what I did with a 55 gal sump. Make 3 sections into it.
