OK, i have heard the refugium metioned a lot of times in these threads. What exatly are they, and what parts would i need to set one up?? Oh, and would you recomend having one?

Its a little tank, sometimes hung on the back of a tank, or under the tank like a sump. They can be for different reasons, Pod population (if you have a manderin) or nutrient export. You need a small tank with a bulk head, overflow (unless you have a drilled tank) pump, light.

i would also recommend to set the fuge on top of tank so that it goes to your tank by gravity, that way you dont have the pods going through the pump.
