Hi SWF,
I currently have a Regular FoxFace. I saw a Magnificent Foxface at my LFS, and I love the way it looks. Is it ok to add it with my regular foxface, or are they going to fight? Your feedback is much appreciated! =)

for what it is worth my LFS has two different species of Foxface in the same frag tank and they always seem to get along just fine.

i looked at the SWF.com said about the Foxface fish that they have for sell and it both species of them said "These fish can can be kept in groups and do well with other fish, including Tangs."

Ive had both in the same tank with no problem. In my experience fish are like people. Some are just jerks and dont do well together, and some do great in groups.

Great to hear! Thanks! Looks like I will be getting one then. I didn't want to take the LFS' word for it, I had to double check here =)

i tried the bi color and the majestic together in a 300 gal and they faught like crazy.. the stress level was so high between them i had to put the bi colored into my 125 again... considering the majestic is almost 100 bucks or more do you really wanna risk it?

Yah I just found this on the internet:
"Temperament / Behavior : They are often found in pairs in the wild but will probably not tolerate other rabbit fish in most tanks unless they are mated pairs and the tank is really large. Should play nicely with most other fish but may nip at crustaceans and other invertebrates. More aggressive tank mates should respect them because of their venomous dorsal spines and so should the hobbyist."
I'm thinking I might just catch my regular Foxface and switch with the Magnificent, but that's gonna be a challenge. Hmmm... Or should I just get a tang.
The LFS will sell the Mag Foxface for $90.
Still waiting to see if anyone else here has experience with 1 Regular Foxface with a Magnificent one.
Oh yah, I have a 110 Gal by the way.

Totally docile fish, and won't bother a thing, even in their own Genus. You will be fine and they are some of the best all around fish available.
